Creative Expression starts when the quilting begins to reflect the quilt structure itself.  This level reflects separate border treatments, and low distribution of quilting in the background areas.  These are some of the more detailed pattern options for your quilt.

Nancy's quilt of her own design.

Detail of texture in the plain black areas.

Fantasy freehand. This is an allover pattern, but is quite intensive to quilt,

June's Sunbonnet Sue quilt. This quilt was all done freehand, but is a good example of customizing to the quilt structure itself.

I put bows on her bonnet, and lace on her dress.

The background filler is a hearts and loops meander.

The back shows the quilting itself.

The whole back looks quite nice, I thought.
